No Tent Left Behind 2025
Decathlon UK Launches Biggest Ever, Summer-long Tent Pledge – Take The Pledge. Bring It Back. Get Rewarded.

Championing Circularity And Ending Tent Waste
Responding to growing customer demand, Decathlon UK expands its pioneering pledge to include ALL Decathlon tents for the entire summer season (June 9th – September 14th), empowering everyone to commit to a great camping experience while fostering a circular economy.
10th June, 2025. Decathlon UK today announces the highly anticipated return and expansion of its Summer Tent Pledge for 2025. Launching this June to coincide with the start of the festival season, and running as a nationwide, season-long initiative until September 14th, this year’s pledge takes Decathlon's commitment to circularity and ending tent waste – whether from festivals, campsites, or wild camping spots – to a new level by including every single Decathlon brand tent across both the popular Quechua and Simond ranges.
The Summer Tent Pledge has evolved significantly based on customer engagement and demand. Beginning in Year 1 with a single 2-person MH100 tent, expanding in Year 2 to include the entire MH100 range, the 2025 Pledge now proudly encompasses Decathlon’s full range of tents.
This bold step allows more customers than ever to make responsible choices that counter the significant environmental issue of abandoned tents, where a typical single-use tent contains as much plastic as 9,000 straws or 200 bottles.
The Summer Tent Pledge 2025 is a nationwide call to action for all summer camping adventures. Decathlon believes everyone should experience the joy of the outdoors with reliable, quality gear, and this pledge lowers the barrier to entry. Encouraging the curious to invest in a tent designed for a great camping experience, safe in the knowledge they can return it at the end of the season if their needs change.
Broadcaster, author, and passionate festival-goer Vick Hope is supporting this year’s campaign. Known for her work covering events like Glastonbury, presenting BBC Countryfile, and her advocacy for environmental causes, Vick embodies the spirit of conscious adventuring and aligns with the Pledge's purpose.

This innovative buyback scheme ensures tents stay out of landfill and also fuels Decathlon’s Second Life programme. Providing hundreds more campers with the opportunity to acquire quality gear for their first outdoor experiences or to upgrade their current setup at a new accessible price point.
"The evolution of the No Tent Left Behind promise reflects our deep commitment to circularity and listening to our customers," says Chris Allen, Sustainability Leader, Decathlon UK. "What started with one tent has grown into a commitment across our entire range, driven by the public's desire to make more responsible choices. By making it easy and rewarding to bring tents back, we're not only reducing waste across all camping activities, but also creating a vital supply chain for our Second Life programme, making quality outdoor gear accessible to even more people. This is about driving systemic change and changing camping culture for the better."
"Whether you're dancing at Glasto, on a hilltop, or roasting marshmallows with family, your tent deserves more than one weekend of glory," says Vick Hope. "Decathlon's Pledge is brilliant because it simplifies doing the right thing!”
Bringing the spirit of circularity to campsites, Decathlon UK will also launch a 'Flag the Pledge' social activation this summer. In partnership with circular designer @j.o.studioo, end-of-life tents from previous seasons have been repurposed and transformed into vibrant, oversized flags bearing the crucial message "I'm not leaving my tent behind, you shouldn't either," and will travel across festivals and campsites, carried and planted by campaign partners and Decathlon team mates, serving as a highly visible reminder of the Tent Pledge and the importance of choosing a tent's next life over landfill.
